Can cancelled ticket value be transferred to another person?
We bought tickets on AS for our kids to meet us in Phoenix.
Turns out Southwest (who they fly all the time) has come out with their schedule and it's cheaper and better for them (plus they collect WN miles).
AS agent on phone said they could cancel since it's more than 60 days out (no AS status), and here's the real question...
Said that the value of their tickets could be given to them in a "pin code" (I'm sure that's what he said) and that WE could use the value on a future flight for ourselves (since we fly AS all the time), the new tickets do not have to be in their names.
