Interesting. Since my first claim about 9 months after they offered the card everything has gone smoothly for me - even for claims that weren't explicitly covered. For example they had no issues reimbursing me for a rental car and gas to get me from CMH to DTW when my DTW flight was cancelled. My provided rationale was it was cheaper then them paying for a several hotel nights since the next confirmed flight was 2 days out due to a large blizzard. Submitted two claims this year with no issues.
Out of sheer curiosity, which card product was this on? I don't have my various benefits guides handy but I wonder if it's different travel insurers/administrators depending on the product. My gut instinct is it's all the same.
