It would be a lunch time arrival in the lounge for a 3pm QR Y flight to Doha so yes will have access to the SkyTeam lounge. Have been there before and it's rather underwhelming . I'm aware the MH flights depart late morning and late evening which would fit in with the MH website advising the lounge opens 3hrs prior to flight departure. However the oneworld lounge guide suggests open pretty much all day. If QR is laying on SkyTeam lounge access for oneworld elites flying in Y as opposed to linking in to the MH lounge which is already there, a oneworld lounge and theoretically open, is it because the lounge has capacity issues thus not guaranteeing elites access or is it because it is closed most of the day?

The link provided was strikingly similar and I hadn't seen it before although I did skim over the QR pages also. It is asking pretty much the same question (amongst other things) but doesn't answer the question either. Just speculation and general murkiness. Clarity is what I'm after. I may just call the lounge when I'm really bored and have nothing better to do and ask. Thought someone in the MH forum may have actually known rather than me making informed guesses.... Which is what I have been doing
