Whew! Our worst fears were not confirmed and we did not experience significant flooding here in south central Louisiana earlier this week due to Tropical Storm Harvey. Just over a year ago, our home did flood due to torrential rainfall (20 inches in 12 hours) and it took nine months for the repairs (and updates) to be completed thus enabling us to move back in.

So we have quite a bit to be thankful for. Other folks, especially in southeast Texas in general and Houston in particular (I do not think BA has resumed flights into IAH yet although flight 0195 may operate tomorrow), weren't nearly as lucky and our thoughts and prayers remain with them. :-:
