They can certainly feel that long.
My major issue with the iPads is they fact that they collect them 40 mins before landing. I mean really, did people run off with them??? Take my ID as collateral. And I've only ever taken one in Premium.
I've quite happily watched the IFE until 45 mins after we landed due to ground issues. I just use buds once the light goes on.
