The policy is up to a maximum of 300 miles to a different gateway. Seattle at ~860 miles is well beyond that maximum.

Are there not possibilities to reroute via LAX/ORD/PHX/DFW then on to LAS?

If LGW-LAS is possible then that may be an option. Tbh the new LGW lounges are good.
