Amex Travel is not the same as Platinum Travel Service.
Apparently booking through PTS on the phone and booking through the FHR portal are different. The PTS people do not handle the online FHR bookings. At least, that is what I was told.
Further, Peninsula says they are not responsible for the rates that appear on other websites. Amex says they are not responsible for the rates or text on their own site.
