Presidential Suite
The Presidential Suite is a spacious 3 room, 2 bathroom suite with scenic views of Yellowstone Lake that have been enjoyed by President Coolidge in the course of the hotel’s 125 year history. Each bedroom is furnished with a queen bed. The living room is complete with an oversize wet bar with refrigerator, dining table, and a spacious seating area including a sofa sleeper. One bathroom features an over-sized deep soaking tub and separate shower, the other a bathtub with shower. Televisions, radios, and air conditioning are not available in park lodging.
We have now stayed and can highly recommend this suite. I would guess that the square footage is 1100-1200 sq ft. It is at the end of the 2nd floor and has windows on 2 sides. You enter thru double doors to a large sitting area. It has a sofa and 4 comfortable chairs. To the side is a small round table with four chairs. Beyond is a bar area with a small sink, lots of cabinet space, a small refrigerator, and no microwave. There are some dishes in the cabinets.
Turn to the side and there is a very large master bathroom with ensuite. The bed is a queen size though there was an abundance of room for a king. The ensuite has both a large walk in shower and a tub. Just before the bedroom is a 2nd bathroom. This is small and has a shower/tub combo. There is a second bedroom on the other side of the living room. It also has a queen bed. The bedroom is small. There is plenty of room to have a rollaway bed in the master bedroom or in the living/dining room. It's an ideal setup for a family, less so for friends traveling together given that the 2nd bathroom is not ensuite.
We have made our way thru several of the west coast national parks over the past few years, seeking out the best in accommodations at each. This is by far the best we have found anywhere. If you come to Yellowstone, I highly recommend it. Even their regular rooms look decent though that was simply a glance thru an open door.
