Just in case you can still find an AB connection, here's a cautionary tale...

I attempted to do a BA / AB LCY-TXL-GDN-TXL-LCY earlier this year. On paper, the connections were great, I think a couple of hours on the way out, and an hour (over MCT) on the way back.

True to form, AB cancelled the outbound once I'd arrived at TXL leaving me with a 5.5 hour train journey instead. The inbound was over an hour late so I missed my LCY connection - and there was nothing else to LON that day.

Obviously, EU261 was denied by AB due to "exceptional circumstances" and I can't be bothered with the fight. Based on this experience, I can't say I'll be sorry to see AB go!

However, Gdansk was pleasant enough.
