do all galley contents get incinerated after intl flight, even partially full liquor?

Sorry in advance! I wasn't exactly sure what forum to ask this so I'll seek the knowledge of my favorite UA forum...

When international flights land in the US or other countries, does everything in the galleys get disposed / incinerated (as I've heard vague rumors of)? Even partially opened large bottles of liquor, or unopened small stuff? Certainly I would expect (or not bat an eye about) perishables, but are things like liquor that can be reused, kept locked up like the duty free?

Thanks for any info on this curious question!
