The rooms are indeed great value esp. if u booked during the pvt sale (MYR 280 per night) I'll be staying at the property this week, will report back after my stay. Hope to do a hotel review, it'll be my 1st review on FT.
I've been upgraded to the Jnr. Suite via a welcome email from the assistant mgr of rooms. That was indeed a sweet surprise. It'll be an excellent stay for sure. I'm looking forward to my stay ^
Re: the Majestic, it is in the middle of nowhere, situated somewhere between KL Sentral, the museum and the old KTM train station. Not a fantastic location either.
So which hotel did u finally end up booking? I suppose most visitors would stay in the Bukit Bintang/KLCC area, while others would prefer the KL Sentral area for its easy access to the KLIA airport.
As for myself, I have no need to be in the downtown area so the KL Sentral / Bangsar / Damansara area is fine.
