Off topic, but I wonder how many MCE seats AA actually sells. AA actually said on CNBC interview previously (this was before AA introduced Y-UP fare) that typical F seats on domestic flights were occupied by FF upgrades and FF awards. Typical 738 domestic flights in F did not have a single F fare paying passengers onboard. I wondering if MCE seats are occupied by passengers did not pay extra, such as FF elites and passengers did not pay for seat assignment and got MCE seat by default without paying it.
