My wife and I both have the Aviator Red cards that converted from US Airways with the annual 10k mile bonus. Recently, she received a notice that her cards were upgraded to World Elite MC and she received a set a new cards with the same account number. It was nothing we were expecting. I did not receive any upgrade to my Aviator.

We are not sure why only 1 of us were upgraded but maybe Barclay's is in the process of upgrading the old US Airways cards to the World Elite.
