I looked it up as my daughters bag failed to turn up for our family holiday. V annoying. Vueling only allow £50 per day (connected flight from lhr) and her insurance is the same. Useless - doesn't buy you very much at all.

I didn't realise I had this insurance either otherwise I would have explored but seems to say u need to make purchases for replacement items on your Amex - I use a curve card or moneycorp card abroad. Also only valid if u can't claim elsewhere?

Probably worth a call to Amex.

So sorry your holiday has been ruined.

For note, I drove to agp to collect our bag when it finally turned up at the airport 2 days later. Didn't fancy waiting for the courier to bring as assumed that would be another 2 days!
