Hi,

Please tell me more about Miles and More programme that Lufthansa has.
I'm going to buy a ticket from them for the first time.

1.Should I register as a member of Miles and More before buying the ticket for the miles to count or it doesn't matter?
2.They can't make me a permanent plastic card (my country of residence is not in the list). How long the temporary card is valid, and is it necessary to present it at the check in stations in order to register the miles. The fact of buying the ticket is not enough?
3.I have double residence. Does it matter what country I choose when registering as a member? (One is on the list, the other is not). If I register with the country that's not on the list, will the miles still count if I buy the ticket as a citizen of the other country (that's on the list)?
