D certainly would be covered by any Sale, and Sales definitely highlight the cheapest fares in terms of the way they are promoted. The continentalclub blog gives a measure of what has happened in the past. I must admit I don't know if J or C fares get reduced in Sales, my feeling would be that it would be pointless to do this, from BA's perspective.
