Thank you but one thing is not clear to me. If I am flying-

USA -> Japan
Japan -> Thailand
Thailand -> Japan
Japan -> USA

Then each of these flights is both "to/from Japan" as well "to/from others". So which code would be the lowest to permit seat selection? Is it Q, V, or S?
