If flying on the same flight number, I think not. On my ICN-BKK flights (or vv) the mileage earned is exactly the same irrespective of whether I have flown direct, or via technical stops in HKG or TPE (which very slightly increases the distance).
I remember the opposite on exactly the same route, but it's quite some time since...maybe not a uniform policy?
for sure if you interrupt with a stopover, you can get more miles.
Why does the OP not enjoy 1-3 days in Phuket with no additional flight costs. I would do that!
