18 months ago I stayed at the PEK Hilton on a layover with AC that I paid for myself. The Hilton was decent albeit a bit expensive for China. I don't see any mention on the Air China website of a layover hotel option.
Has the program been discontinued? Or should I just consider it the cost of the low airfare? I really want to stay at the Hilton because I found the breakfast one of the best airport hotel options of my year of hotels. I need a decent breakfast as the food on the flight will most likely be inedible. Also it is within walking distance of the terminal and I land at night and don't want to wait for the always late shuttle bus.
Thanks
In Air China website, if you qualify for transit hotel, you can book them on the APP or the website. But those hotels are for economy passengers. Their system is not sophiscated enough to differentiate Y and C passengers. If you want better hotel for C passengers, call Air China service line!

The Air China service hotline will tell you whether you qualify or not. If so they will book a hotel for you if still available. So call ahead is always recommended.

If Air China service hotline claims you are not qualified for hotels, check the web of APP again under Additional Service section and choose transit hotel. This will book the crappy hotels they supply to Y passengers but at least it will be free.

Have heard Air China book C passengers to Langham and Crowne Plaza for its F/C passengers as well as Platimum members flying long haul before but never Hilton.
