I had purchased two tickets from Qatar Airways round trip Doha to Miami - Miami to Doha, when I followed the website steps it provids to me to select the Inbound (Miami to Doha) then I had selected a Saver type with restricted cancellation and the ticket is around 700$ per passenger. After that the website provides to select the Outbound (Miami to Doha) then I had selected the flexible one with double amount to be free of changes and cancellation which was diplayed to me under restricted section.
For family commitment I have changed my plan to stay in Miami for long time and to cancel my ticket I was calling the reservation department and they confirmed me there is no fee of cancellation since my return ticket is flixable and they submitted refund request for cancellation. I surprised that refund send me email with 700$ deduction as cancellation fees then call again and again to solve it but no one help to solve this and everybody said rules and instructions of cancellation. I don't know why this misleading steps with web site and like this hidden cost of cancellation. How I can come again to make a bookings with Qatar Airways with such like complicated process, really more than 2 weeks just to return whole mony back without any action!!!! Anyone to advise plz.
