The plan WAS to get on the Peach flight as it worked out PERFECTLY but then Peach then has to go and change for the winter schedule and screw up my nicely laid plan

There are ground options -
Train - 4 - 5 hours - The Okayama to Matsuyama train says it's an express but nothing like it - trust me for living in the sticks
Highway bus - Multiple options from Umeda but all take 6 - 7 hours
If push comes to shove and there are IRROPS it will probably end up being a late night arrival train.
I'm getting the Peach flight from MYJ so I will arrive just in time to rendeveous with my mother.
I will try and get her as far forward on the plane as possible so she can be off quickly - it's just knowing which way to hedge my bets.
I'm doubtful of taking a taxi all the way from KIX due to traffic snarlups - it will just be the start of the peak of the rush hour. That's why I'm leaning towards getting a train as bar an IRROPS on the lines it's a straight run in to namba and then a 7,000 yen taxi ride from Namba out to ITM.
Anyone with a different opinion?
