I would advise no lee-way on times or accommodating staff sadly. I've never had great ground staff experience at AGP. They will stick to the book and will not divert from it. Even 2 minutes early they may refuse you...it's almost a comedy sketch sometimes and wonder if you are being filmed!

So I will briefly digress, without derailing the thread, to back this above theory up...I landed at AGP and at the end of the Air bridge the rope was still across the exit as if the ground crew didn't know that we had arrived and the person looked quite surprised that a plane was de-boarding, I didn't think much of this and shrugged l, moved on but I then arrived at the car hire stand to be greeted by a desk of 4 staff but empty of customers, as I approached I said the obvious...hi, I'm hiring a car etc etc.... to my amazement I was refused and told I need to stand away and get a ticket from the machine and then be called in line...yes, this is genuine. Not another sole was there but spain have there rules and we must follow them. So I took a ticket and sat down, I was then called to the desk. I really thought it was some late night tv comedy show but no it was just southern Spain and I think the heat gets to their heads but I still love the place and the people. I have many more of these examples.

So I would advise that 2 hours before you will get the usual process and treatment.

I'm still intrigued by the fast track and whether this is now official?. AGP during August and July is never pleasant especially with the holiday makers. But I wish you a safe journey.
