Well on that we can 100% agree. LCCs aren't always a saver. And some are very uncomfortable even for a short(er) flight like JNB-CPT. One should always look at the overall costs when pricing tickets.
If OP goes the group rate route a full service airline may be able to give a much better overall deal than an LCC.
