Is think row 1 is good because if you need to stand up to help your child settle/walk them around, etc, you can step on the other side of the bulk head wall right there. You will also be close to the lav for changing diapers.

As long as you are just trying your best to help it go well for your child, I would ignore anyone who has any issue. Babies are a part of life (and a really great part of life at that!).
