Booking on LH w/overnight layover at Munich; is hotel provided?
Hello,

I wanted to book a ticket [on LH] with a layover of 16h in Munich airport. There was a warning that when there is an overnight layover, according to EU laws, we should be provided with a hotel.

I searched on the net if I understood correctly, but didn't find anything relevant.
Is there really such a law? If so please give me more details, such as:
-the airport guarantees the hotel, and pays it or is it the customer?
-is it mandatory, or I can just stay at the airport?
