Excellent stay!

I stayed at this hotel twice in the last few weeks. First time, I came in at 8 pm and left for an 8 am flight, so basically saw nothing of the property but was upgraded to a lovely studio suite.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I came back 3 weeks later for a 2 night stay before heading home. This was the perfect opportunity to knock another item off my bucket list and see the pyramids and the sphinx, so booked that on my middle day. It was an hour drive to the pyramids, but my tour included transfer to/from hotel so this really was a choice location. The rest of the time I just enjoyed the pool and had a massage. Unlike the Sheraton Montazah, I wasn't the only one wearing "NA swimwear" at the pool.

As mentioned, the hotel offers a meet and greet service, so first visit was painless. Second stay, I navigated the airport by myself effortlessly.

I was upgraded to studio suite on my second visit as well. Lounge on the 5th floor is great with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the pool area. The pool is semi-circular and very long, ideal for anyone who wants to swim laps. The massage rooms are by the pool and massages were $35 for 30 mins or $55 for 60 mins, but while I was here, there was a promo for an extra 50% more time, so $35 for 45 mins and $55 for 90 mins. Not really a spa, but the massage rooms were impeccably clean.

Platinum breakfast can be enjoyed in the lounge (06:30-10:00) or at the buffet breakfast (opens at 04:30!) in addition to the 500 pt Plat welcome amenity.

There are light snacks in the lounge all day including sandwiches. Evening happy hour is 18:00-20:00. Two hot items, both of which were meat when I was here, were available. There are lots of other small appetizers as well as a nice selection of desserts. Beer, wine and alcoholic drinks are complimentary. Staff is very attentive.

The one strange thing is staff is meticulous about getting you to sign a $0 bill every time you visit the lounge. I came in to pick up a diet coke once and was asked to sign a $0 bill (with line for gratuity). Ironically, I was never asked to sign anything at the breakfast buffet.

The wifi is excellent throughout the hotel and also by the pool. No need to re-login every time.

Hallways are illuminated by lights activated by motion detectors which I think is great.

Lots of security at the hotel. All luggage is scanned both at airport entrance and lobby entrance. In addition, there was an explosives sniffing dog that inspected our vehicle when I returned from my tour.

I would highly recommend this hotel and would come back in a heartbeat. I debated staying at LM Pyramids, but have no regrets about spending both nights at the airport, especially with a 08:45 flight out.
