I would write a polite and detailed e-mail explaining what the issue is and which alternative solution(s) you want them to provide as a result. Explaining clearly might help them. Sometimes the language and cultural barriers take a few attempts to cross. The fact that they are offering a full refund though is on par with what many airlines would do.
