Flying BKK-IKA-BKK (as part of KUL-BKK-IKA-BKK-KUL) in a few weeks and I had a few questions.

1) Is alcohol served on this flight? I assume it won't be on the ground at IKA or over Iranian airspace, but not sure if it would be restricted the whole flight.
2) Is business worth it? I know this is an old 77E, and uses shell seats; I have had mixed experience with J-class catering on Thai, even flying the A380.
3) Have any of you personally flown this route? Thoughts?
