I have had several situations where I VBD'd then the airline tried to take my voucher back and tell me to board. My rule became to use the VDB voucher code immediately on a refundable flight and take photos in case they wanted it back and they put me back on my original flight, in a much worse seat.
If you then get that flight refunded, do you get the refund back as voucher again, or cash?
