To be fair, DL has their share of older aircraft ready to be phased out, like the MD88 and MD90, 747, 767. And aren't there still CR2s in DL's regional fleet?
Glad you shared your experiences, OP (and welcome, btw!). There are many who would agree on your points, and probably just as many who would disagree on many points. That's what makes FT fun - everyone having and sharing their differing perspectives.
That is exactly what I meant - and yes, Delta still has plenty of flights on MD-88's and the like. Anything is better than the CR2's, and for the record I am 5ft 0 and still feel cramped in those awful planes!
