We got tickets with a one hour connection at LHR. Arriving on AC and continuing on LH. In J. Apparently this fits within the MCT. No real choice given that my wife is on an AE award and that was the only route available which I could match with a P revenue ticket.

Obviously AC and LH are in the same terminal. And since this is within the MCT, should be doable. This said, last time (long time ago) I connected AC to LH at LHR, with 75 minutes my luggage did not make it. So first thing we'll hve carry on only.

And obviously I'll have a plan B identified in case it goes wrong. Only alternative itinerary that works for us is on LX; I would expect LH would not have a major issue rebooking us on LX.

Which might come into play not only if the AC flight gets delayed, but also, if between now and then the schedule changes and the connection no longer works. Main issue being the I fare, not so much the P one...

Any other comment/experience/suggestion?
