Westin Morristown NJ vs Sheraton Parsippany NJ

Yes, I've stayed at both. There have been several discussions of this topic elsewhere on the board. I HIGHLY recommend the Sheraton over the Westin (words I never thought I'd speak). The Sheraton is conveniently located in Parsippany, right next to several major highways. The service is very attentive and personal. The property itself, while not "plush", is very nice, new and clean. The lounge is wonderful for breakfast. Say "Hi" to sweet Mary.

The Westin, Morristown, on the other hand, is old and dingy. I was there on a warm, muggy evening in the springtime. The room was so hot we were sweating. Their response? "Sorry, but our air conditioner hasn't yet been turned on for the Summer" We can bring you a fan, though.

Uh, WHAT? I thot this was unacceptable for a hotel of this (supposed) quality. But that's just me.
