Having spent the last night in Klamath Falls and driving to Redmond this morning, traffic is a non-issue so far. We were advised to use tripcheck.com, and we did.

Though we're staying in Redmond, we're driving to Madras now to check out the area. We intend to watch the eclipse there, but may scout out the area on Highway 26 between Madras and Prineville to see if that's less trafficked.
