Car Rental USA - Collision Damage Waiver - credit card or primary car insurance?
We will be renting a car in Orlando tomorrow.
We have car insurance in Ottawa- which has a car rental clause (for cars rented in Canada and USA).
We have 2 types of credit cards - one with collision coverage and one with no collision coverage.
We were thinking of using the credit card without the collision coverage and instead use the primary car insurance car rental coverage. What do you think? Should we go this way, or use the credit card (in our case, a Gold AMEX - giving 2x Aeroplan miles/dollar)?
