- You could get a visa
- You could pay the re-route fee and change MAD-SSG to MAD-JNB (assuming you don't need a visa for South Africa). IB has a flight Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays. Or anywhere else in Africa with a direct flight from MAD where you don't need a visa (IB flies to CAS, DKR, etc.)
How much is a visa and how much hassle is it to get? If it was me, I wouldn't want to risk being denied boarding in HKG.
