I've had those behind a big heavy desk or full wall unit. At the Blackstone they admit their suite upgrade has no usable outlets but they will bring an extension cord.

The problem with some of the desk, nightstand and bathroom outlets is they are not heavy enough for an iron. I've taken to using the bathroom outlet and putting the iron in the small hallway outside, provided the bathroom outlet isn't marked for "razor only" use.
