UK based, but travelled business class on SAS from Stockholm to LAX in July - very nice flight, great price, but the killer was an overnight stay on the way out, and a 6 hour wait on the connection to Manchester on the return (the lounge was no good for sleeping).

Am planning a similar trip next July and was looking for recommendations for business class to LA / San Diego please - Stockholm on SAS was £1500 return, against £2500 with BA from London

Can anyone recommend a good route / airline please?
