Post Linking bookings & seat selection on the same flight
First time poster!! I tried to search for the answer, so advance apologies if I have missed it


I am travelling INV > LHR > JFK in a few weeks with some friends. In total we have 3 bookings, I wanted to link the bookings together (to complete trip) and then select the seats.


I am a GCH and also the third party nominee for the other two booking references.


I thought I would be able to select the seats myself online for the other bookings, but talking to the Gold Card hotline, they are only able to link and request to the booking team to recommend putting the others close or next to me.


Is that correct? Or have I misunderstood what is possible? :-(
