China is certainly different regarding transit then other countries in Asia (see my first post about TWOV, where i have personal experience)
I have not heard about transits, where passengers can stay completely airside and do not have to got through passport checks/transit stamps. Maybe they exist as exceptions but I would only could on them if confirmed by the Airline. TG is certainly not one of them
