Have an upcoming stay and looked online at my reservation and there is now a destination charge of $25.00 per stay... better than a daily resort fee I guess but still BS. I still have my old reservation saved without that on there so will see if I want to say something but the benefits are silly (red font is my opinion):
Starting August 10, 2017, we introduced a destination fee that provides the following benefits to our guests:
$20 per day Beverage Credit
(I would rather charge to my room and get points)
Unlimited Filtered Sparkling and Still Water (w/bottle)
(this was offered previously as there is a refrigerator right next to the check in area where people could grab water when needed)
Enhanced Wi-Fi
(I get this free anyway)
Business and Local / Long Distance / International Calls
(I have no need for this)
(2) Citi bike passes per day
(I have no need for this)
500 points per day in compensation for Gold and Platinum
(not sure why this is being offered... they have brekkie in the Mixxing Room but I wonder if this is no longer the case and you get points instead... per Sharon's sticky - No Lounge; Brekkie daily in The Mixxing Room; this property is on the exempt list, but think they're offering it anyway; 1,000 points only per night on weekends; (no cont'l brekkie option); PAG 500pts or $10FB coupon; 11/09/16 update)
$30 Laundry/Valet Credit per day
(I have no need for this)
I kind of wonder if they are making it seem like a good deal and in the near future they will pull certain parts of the offering above.
