No idea what connecting through BEY airport is like since it's my home city Might I suggest you actually spend the day/night here and catch a flight (ME) the next day to Doha? You'll be surprised at how much the city has to offer. Maybe even visit the AUB campus? It's one of the most beautiful campuses in the region... Just my 2 cents...
