The first couple of times took patience, but the last dozen times, it's worked perfectly. I use the ticket number; make sure you get the Surname/First name thing correct. I don't have a Chinese id, nor a Chinese phone number...just use email. There is one point in the process when you are asked for your (Skypearl) membership..,that stumped me initially. I am Elite Plus, but choose "non member", and it works perfectly. Your own advice earlier in the thread is very good...pretty much full proof...people just have to remember that absolute precision is needed on the CZ website. On Western airlines, they'll take booking code, email, surname...or any combination to hook you into a reservation....and once your are linked, you stay linked. With CZ, especially if you haven't booked with them directly, you need to find the booking every time, it's not attached to your FF number (at least I can't get it to). Certainly the website is an acquired taste, but I've successfully booked tickets, ordered meals and seats (although changing seats is a little more challenging....) and ordered accommodation for every flight. I feel readers will think I'm on the CZ payroll!! I'm not!!
