I am going to be spending a long weekend in Costa Mesa this fall to attend a concert series. My two hotel options are a Jr Suite with terrace at Avenue of the Arts or an Executive Room at the Westin. The price is about the same. I'll be without a car so most of my time will be spent in the immediate area. On the surface, this seems like a no brainer. However, I have a feeling that, while Ave of the Arts will be very convenient to the concert hall, I'll find the Westin more convenient for everything else. I don't want to have to rely on a hotel dining room for food. Any insights from anyone familiar with the area would be much appreciated.
