What is the chance of being Op-Up (Economy to Business) for DOH CMB sector as my friend is a OW Sapphire (Gold)? His wife is a OW Ruby though. Their tickets are on Eco Saver (DOH CMB) and Eco Value (CMB DOH).

I am a regular QR Emerald flyer, however, do not fly with Sri Lankan Airlines so want to help him on this matter.

Also, do you think they should bid for the upgrade instead or wait for Op-Up at the check in? Please let me know your advice / thoughts so that I can help him.
