I have the Topas Titanium Sport Multiwheel Electronic 100L and multiple Topas Titanium in 32" and 30". Preference is to travel with hard case whenever possible. Never issue on international flights with 32" as they r not obvious n never seen anyone measure luggage. Main issue with aluminum hard case is weight unless u r traveling premium or with status. I find Titanium less flashy than regular Topas and scratches less obvious than Stealth.

If you r concern about travel weight n crack shells, check out the Tumi Tegra-Lite series. They r great for extra heavy loads n definitely no concern with cracking luggage shell. Have fun!
