If you frequent the property, you may want to check future reservations. I had a stay at a property where I was returning in a week. The first visit went without any concerns. When I returned a week later they told me the new rez was used a week earlier. Looking at my CC I see two charges for a week earlier, one for the stay and one for a non-show. Fortunately I still had my confirmations and was able to sort out what happen. They did have a room available and I got the booked rates. No special service recovery, but I just wanted a room.

A good reason to keep copies of confirmations until everything posts.
