All the advice is most appreciated. MSPeconomist - I had not thought about departing from Chicago - so I will investigate that. There is a decent train that runs from Ann Arbor to the Windy City. Although I am on faculty at AUB in Beirut and am familiar with the airport, connecting through there is not a lot of fun.

Bgriff - perhaps the "suck it up" is the medicine that I might have to take. Just hate to lose the riding up front MQMs, but you are right - how much torture to endure for the miles?
