I used my Volumebuy vouchers today to buy a web-booked tickets from BWI to LAS for 232.50 and from BRU to DCA for 393.30. The process took over 50 minutes since the agent had not seen these certs before. Here is exactly what was done.

She converted 13 of my vouchers into a MCO for $650 dollars. Using this voucher number as a form of payment she issued the 2 tickets and then a transportaion voucher for the remaining 24.20.

The actual tickets reflected the full price I had paid for the ticket, however I was charged the federal tax. I was also able to use a VIP2 upgrade on the BRU-DCA flights.

As a side note AA seems to have automated the purchase using 1 voucher and the agent did issue a ticket using that process. When the ticket printed it had removed 50 dollars from the fare along with the tax. However this automated process could not be used if using more than 1 cert. She spent 30 minutes trying :-)

pps. The certs CANNOT be used on codeshare flights and travel must be wholly on AA on the ticket. Since I am assuming Volumebuy is listening may i suggest u put a copy of an actual certificate on the web page?
