what happen with the brg department?
I had one which took about 54 hours to come back over the weekend. I asked my Ambassador who told me currently they have quite the backlog!

It makes a mockery of a BRG to have the potential for several days to pass between filing the claim and it being looked at as clearly things are likely to have changed both on spg.com and also the competitors site.

I did email BRG pointing this out about 36 hours ago no but obviously no response yet as it wont have been picked up!

What I am curious about is the following from spg.com

"◦A claim must be submitted within 24 hours after making a confirmed reservation through a Starwood Website, and at least 24 hours (48 hours for non-English Starwood Websites) before the standard check-in time at the applicable Starwood Hotel or SPG Partner Hotel."

so if they take longer than 24 hours to process claims how is there any chance a claim submitted say 28 hours before standard checkin time will be approved.

I hope this is not a cutback due to Marriott, but from what I have heard BRG departments have been trimmed since the merger, but I have no concrete evidence of this!
