I recently stayed in one in Vegas. I booked it with points from the Hilton app just like any other Hilton property. I was a bit hesitant about timeshare pitches (which can be quite aggressive in Vegas) but no one ever bothered me (other than one polite voicemail on my room phone). It was just like any other nice hotel and I wouldn't hesitate to book one again.
